My name is... Aileen! I am currently attending Florida International University, as I pursue a Master's degree in Speech Pathology. I'm a Sister of Alpha Omicron Pi.

I'm Cuban American with Lebanese, French and Spanish blood in me, as well. I'm VERY proud of my heritage!!

I love to travel... Its a passion bc I grew up doing it! I've been to all the states minus 4, to Canada 3x, to Panama and the Dominican Republic once each, and on a few cruises. One took me to different islands in the Caribbean and the other took me to Belize, Honduras, the Cayman Islands, and Mexico. I've even been on an Alaskan cruise! I have favorite vacation spots: anywhere in Canada and NYC... My favorite way of traveling is by car and staying at a campground with a group of people but I stay at hotels now, =/

In 2006, I visited England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. In 2007, I traveled to France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Austria and the Czech Rupublic. I also had a nice scenic drive through Slovakia on my way to Hungary from Poland.

I'd like to one day go to Spain (to visit the towns my ancestors are from), Italy, Greece, Egypt, and Kenya. I also want to go to Lebanon (also to visit the towns my ancestors are from), Israel, and Jordan and to Australia. I hope to one day go to Cuba and visit the towns my parents and grandparents are from, which they tell me about daily.

I love to read. I love classics written by Jane Austen and Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Bronte (very very good, everyone should give them a chance). This interest was sparked by my English teachers who introduced us to the authors. My favorite series are Harry Potter, Anne of Green Gables, The Chronicles of Narnia and The Princess Diaries.

I love baseball and my fave team is the Florida Marlins. We kicked major ass Oct '03, winning the World Series against the Yankees. =)
